Plan your fishing trip with Diego Núñez and the Río Lagartos Adventures team. Choose from tarpon fly fishing, nearshore light tackle and offshore fishing, with accommodation available at Ría Maya Lodge.
All prices below are in Mexican pesos (MXN). Fishing rates are per private boat, rather than per person.
Tarpon Fly Fishing
For one or two anglers sharing a private boat.

Full-Day Fishing Arrangements
Your eight fishing hours can be arranged as a split day:
Morning: 06:00–11:00.
Afternoon: 15:00–18:00.
Alternatively, an eight-hour continuous outing may be arranged with your guide, subject to conditions.
Early departures are recommended to make the most of the morning fishing. Discuss your target species, experience and preferred pace with us so we can help plan your day.
Winter Half-Day Option
Our four-hour winter outing offers a shorter fishing session. A full-day upgrade may be available; please contact us for the additional cost and arrangements.
Nearshore Light Tackle Fishing
4 hours — MXN $5,000 per private boat
Up to four anglers
Explore the coastal fishing opportunities around Río Lagartos. Potential target species include baby tarpon, barracuda, grouper, ladyfish, seatrout, jack crevalle, snapper, snook and Spanish mackerel.
Included: Soft drinks, purified drinking water and bait.
Species encountered depend on the season, conditions and fishing location.
Offshore Light Tackle & Trolling
6 hours — MXN $9,500 per private boat
Explore offshore fishing grounds, with the possibility of fishing around wreck and sinkhole areas when conditions permit.
Potential targets include barracuda, grouper, jack crevalle, snapper, Spanish mackerel, cobia, sailfish and tarpon.
